The capability to make quality lecture videos is not as expensive or complex as you may think. All you need is a small quiet space not much larger than a walk-in close , some flat medium gray paint, an inexpensive video camera, and a wireless microphone.

Do You Do Video?

As a designer and online instructor, I have come to appreciate the use of video in online teaching. I have used just about any type of video you can imagine in my online courses for several years. They say a picture is worth a thousand words then just a few minutes of video can replace a lot of words.

Adobe Software

I use a lot of different software! Like most people I use Microsoft Office on both the PC and Mac and Apple iLife and iWork on the Mac. For several years now I have become a major user of Adobe software for several simple reasons: it works well and has good workflow. I am very interested in workflow and in my daily design work I am always cognisant of the workflow of my courses and how this influences the learning environment. Read more…
